BIENVENIDA PRIMAVERA
Entramos en el mes de abril, mes primaveral con libros y flores cuando se celebra el día de Sant Jordi.
Mes de festivales culturales y si en primavera la sangre altera, esta estación del año también ha alterado el mundo del cine, con películas cuyas historias suceden en esta estación del año.
En este escrito os voy a recordar unas cuantas películas ideales para esta estación del año.
Para recomendaros la primera película, viajamos al año 1949 y os recomiendo la comedia “Sucede en primavera” dirigida por Lloyd Bacon y protagonizada nada más y nada menos por Ray Milland, Jean Peters y Paul Douglas.
Una comedia con el béisbol de fondo, ya que cuenta la vida de un joven profesor de química que descubre una fórmula que aplicada a las pelotas de béisbol.
Para poner a prueba su invento, se inscribe bajo seudónimo como lanzador de un equipo profesional, convirtiéndolo en estrella de la liga.
Un film menor y casi olvidado que optó al Óscar a la mejor historia escrita por Shirley W. Smith y Valentine Davies.
“Primavera en un pequeño pueblo” dirigida por el chino Xiao Cheng ZhiChun y protagonizada por una magnífica Wei Wei en 1948, es un drama dedicado y muy bien rodado, que causó sensación en su momento y que vale la pena recuperar y reivindicar.
Considerada por la asociación de críticos de Hong Kong como una de las mejores películas del cine oriental.
Pese a ser una película del año 1948, es una historia muy actual y que tiene una puesta en escena que recuerda a “Stromboli, tierra de Dios” que Roberto Rosseliini realizó en el año 1950 con Ingrid Bergman de protagonista.
Por cierto, en España se tituló “Primavera en un lugar pequeño” Vamos ahora a películas más actuales.
El año 2021 nos llegó “Primavera en Beechwood” dirigida por Eva Husson y protagonizada por Odessa Young, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Olivia Colman y Glenda Jackson, entre otros.
Cine británico sensible y delicado ambientado en los años del charlestón.
Cine de época con grandes casas y grandes dramas.
Un film con un envoltorio magnífico.
El cine español también renace durante la primavera. En este pasado 2022 Fernando Franco presentó su película “La consagración de la primavera” con Valeria Sorolla, Telmo Irureta y Emma Suárez.
La película se llevó el Goya al mejor actor revelación (Telmo Irureta) y es un drama tremendo sobre la discapacidad y el amor.
Perturbadora, liberadora, transparente y sencilla. Con un gran sentido del humor. Incómoda y atrevida.
Un film que hace cosquillas pincha y hay veces que hasta duele.
Una película que merece descubrirlo.
Y ya para finalizar, de las muchas que hay, os recomiendo
“Primavera, verano, otoño, invierno… Y primavera” del coreano Kim Ki-Duk con Oh Yeong-su, Kim Ki-duk y Kim Jung-yeong de protagonistas.
Una bella y fascinante metáfora sobre el aprendizaje vital.
Un film donde las imágenes valen mucho más que las palabras.
El film se llevó el premio del público del festival de cine de San Sebastián en el año 2003.
Un film de reposada belleza y vocacionalmente didáctico que se tendría que enseñar en los institutos.
